We’re finally getting married!

In junior high Michelle and Ethan first met, sharing a strategies class in 7th grade then a science class in 8th grade. Throughout that time they didn’t talk too much until high school. In high school they both were in FFA (Future Farmers of America). Both were very involved in FFA. They got very close and eventually both become FFA Officers. In FFA we were referred to as the FFA power couple. Once graduated, Michelle went onto college living in the dorms at CAC (Central Arizona College) which didn’t last too long due to some unfortunate circumstances. Ethan went on to work with his dad as an engineer drafter for Woodward Engineering. In 2019, Ethan was diagnosed with endocarditis which definitely put a little bit of a strain on the relationship. At this time Michelle was going to MCC (Mesa Community College) and in the Vet Tech program. Through the challenges, Michelle and Ethan stayed committed to each other. Michelle helped him and his parents with anything they needed and eventually Ethan recovered fully and things started to get back to a new type of normal. Michelle and Ethan have gone on many adventures together throughout Arizona and have gone on their first alone trip to Washington last year to visit some of Michelle’s college friends. Michelle and Ethan both love the outdoors. Going fishing, shooting, camping, and more. Eventually Ethan took Michelle to an Airbnb in Payson with a wonderful view of a stream and a cute patio. There they spent the weekend and on Easter morning Ethan got on one knee and, struggling for words but in a very cute and funny way, asked her to marry him. Michelle said that after almost 8 years, “of course I’ll marry you and that it’s about time!” From that moment on Michelle and Ethan have been so excited planning for the wedding, and their future together. They look forward to finding a house, starting a family, and finally, truly starting their lives together.
