Bridesmaid
Erika and Michelle became friends almost two decades ago in the 5th grade when fate put them together at the same table on the first day of school. Little did she know this friendship would grow stronger and stronger with every new hairstyle, dance routine, trip to Busch Gardens, and sleepover. Erika stuck by Michelle's side through all of the awkward years of adolescence and has been there for every part of Michelle's adult life as well even living together for a year in college.
Bridesmaid
Nicole has also been Michelle's bestie since that 5th grade class. Nicole and Michelle's friendship began when their moms volunteered together in the office at their elementary school. Michelle and Nicole became even closer when the awkward middle school years hit and, to survive, they did everything they could do to switch into each other's classes. As an adult Nicole chose the perfect career that would allow them to see each other even though Nicole now lives across the country 4 million miles away.
Bridesmaid
Michelle and Molli became friends when they were put together as random roommates at the best university in the country, UF. When Michelle was forced to move to another dorm, she continued to go back to Molli's dorm room every night to hang out, make funny videos, eat, and watch LOST. After freshman year, they moved into an apartment together and continued to live together for the rest of their college years. Best. decision. ever.
Bridesmaid
Natalia and Michelle met as roommates when they both attended USF for their masters in speech-language pathology. Their friendship was forged by the type of bond you share with another human being going through the same stress and exhaustion of graduate school. They continued to live together for the next two years where they completed many puzzles and played many games of Catan. (It was a wild two years, guys.)
Bridesmaid
Angelina and Michelle were in a clinical group together chasing around four little two year olds at USF where they were going to school for speech-language pathology. They were friends then, but became much closer when school ended when their love for yummy food, good company, and horrible reality TV shows bonded them for life. Angelina is always serving up some serious realness and makes Michelle laugh like no one else.
Bridesmaid
Jamie and Michelle became friends in graduate school where they were picked to work together in a clinical group one summer in grad school. Jamie and Michelle's friendship has only grown stronger since that summer spending many a morning/lunch/night at a new local Tampa restaurant, but their favorite way to spend a day is hanging out, watching a movie, and eating junk food. Jamie has continued to be one of Michelle's greatest friends and confidants.
Bridesmaid
Throughout all of Michelle's life she wanted a sister. Though, her parents did not provide a sister for her biologically (still salty), her brother gave her that gift when he married Grace. Grace is one of the kindest, sweetest humans alive, but also has some serious grit. Michelle couldn't ask for a better person for her brother to share his life with and to raise her two favorite tiny humans.
Best Man
Forrest and Dusk go all the way back to the very first day of seventh grade at Southwest Middle School. Their friendship has spanned countless memories and endless laughs, only growing stronger through every adventure, party, heartbreak, and pair of red-flame leather pants.
Best Man
Gary is as close to a brother as Dusk's actual brother. They've known each other since middle school and have worked together, taken classes together, and even lived together for a short time. He's got a heart of gold and can always be counted on.
Groomsman
Austin is good people, plain and simple. He got Dusk hired and began his experience in education. They worked together for several years molding the minds of America's youth and establishing a friendship that will endure a lifetime.
Groomsman
Jesse is analogous to the island camping adventures that Dusk and he has shared on many occasions. Equal parts insanity and the fondest memories that each of them can recall, their friendship is a testament to the sheer extent to how close two people can become.
Groomsman
No one can make a person laugh like Davey Fortner can! His authentic personality and cheerfulness are truly infectious, and both Dusk and Michelle are extremely grateful that he found his way into their life.
Groomsman
Josh is Michelle's younger brother and a genuinely honest and great person. Dusk and him have gotten close over these past five years through game nights, professional football, and Netflix.
Groomsman
Dr. Jeffrey Hughes, El Jefe, is Michelle's older brother and is exceptionally talented at making cute kids. Like Josh, he's a great person and has always been a source of guidance and support. And did I mention his cute kids? Seriously, they're adorable.
Officiant
Danielle is such a great friend that she offered to legally join Dusk and Michelle in marriage, forever becoming a part of one of their most important and beloved memories. She has known Dusk since they were both kids and has gotten just as close with Michelle over these past five years. They have all shared so many laughs and smiles that it only makes sense that Danielle would have such an important role in this day. From the bottom our hearts we want to thank you for being our officiant!
