McGhee Tyson is the closest and most convenient option for air travel. Others include Atlanta (ATL) and Nashville (BNA), but those are a 3-4 hour drive from Knoxville and not recommended.

There are many hotels in downtown Knoxville. For higher-end options, consider the Tennessean or the Oliver. For mid-range options, consider the Crowne Plaza, the Hilton, or the Hampton Inn and Suites in downtown Knoxville. For more budget options, there are hotels in West Hills that will require a drive. Otherwise, Airbnb is a great way to find lodging that matches your preferences.
