We’re getting married!

We met online! After taking the scary plunge into online dating, I came across a picture of a cute guy in front of an alligator! I swiped and we matched. We found we had so much in common and after two weeks of talking, we had our first date. Our first date was so much fun! We met up to go go-karting at the little place in Port Orange, followed by lunch and a walk on the beach. We spent the whole day together and would have stayed longer, but it started to rain. We both knew it could be very serious and we quickly started making plans for our next date!

We were getting ready to go on vacation and Danny wanted to have a picnic at the local park to kick things off when I got out of work. He bought fancy cheeses and meats for us to enjoy and had the cooler ready to go as soon as I was done with work. He was dressed up and has his cologne on, and I remember thinking "why is he so dressed up to go to the park?" After getting to the park, Danny walked me to a bench by the springs and we started enjoying our picnic. However, his phone kept going off as his best friend, David, kept texting. I asked Danny if everything was alright, and after confirming it was, I told Danny that this was our time together and he could talk to him later. During that time, a thunderstorm was starting to roll in. I kept telling Danny that we should leave, but he was insistent that we stay. Danny then decided to take me to another spot by the springs that was more covered by trees. He then had me leave our cooler on a bench and walked me right by the water and proposed. Afterward he brought me back to our house where rose petals were scattered on the floor, champagne was in a bucket, and a picture of the proposal on the TV! I found out later that the reason David kept texting was because he was dressed in camo, on his stomach in the bushes, getting ready to take pictures of the proposal!
