Craig having to repeat Spanish 1 in High School ended up being the best thing for the both of us! We met when Craig would stare at me from across the room and also because I was the teacher's pet and would get called to the front to help out. We briefly dated in High School, but reconnected during my freshmen year of college and have been inseparable ever since.

Craig surprised not only me but all of the friends we had with us in Ellicottville for Fall Fest 2020, as he did not give a single one of them a heads up on what he planned to do, while having ample alone time to be able to have done so. It was very sweet, we shared a ski lift back down the mountain while our new engagement was loudly announced to all who passed on the way.
