Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

In accordance with the MN Governor's mandate, masks are required to be worn by all guests and anytime they are in the public areas inside the barn building or when social distancing is not possible. Masks do not need to be worn while eating or drinking. With over 40 acres of outdoor space to spread out and relax, Rustic Oaks is a perfect setting to celebrate your wedding day with family and friends.

Is it safe to attend and what precautions are being taken by the venue to protect guests from COVID?

Answer

🖤We will have hand sanitizer stations at every exit and entrance throughout the venue including the ceremony site. 🖤We will be grouping the ceremony chairs in groups of 2, 4 & 6 guests at the site. We suggest that families that sit together during the ceremony, would sit together at dinner. Round tables will have seating of a limit of 6 guests per table and will spaced. 🖤We will have bottled water available. no self-serve beverage stations. 🖤We will make use of all of the beautiful space outdoors as well. One of the many amenities of Rustic Oaks! 🖤We will be testing all vendor's temperatures upon arrival. 🖤We carry and use sanitizing spray for sanitizing microphones and we have clean microphone covers for replacement. 🖤All Rustic Oaks employees will be wearing masks and taking temperatures upon arrival. 🖤We will be wiping down frequently touched areas. 🖤We have signs up that apply to social distancing guidelines including a sign in the parking lot upon entering Rustic Oaks.

Will all events be outdoors so social distancing can be abided by?

Answer

We are still working on this and finding ways for everyone’s safety during this time. At this time the ceremony and social hour will be outside. The Rustic Oaks venue provides so many outdoor opportunities and we are working to capitalize on the outdoor space! We will keep you updated!

What will dinner buffet consist of?

Answer

Dinner buffet will include herb roasted chicken breast with gravy, whipped garlic potatoes, roasted corn, garden salad, and dinner roll with butter. Please let us know if you have an dietary restrictions, such as food allergies, so we can best accommodate. You can text or call Michelle at 701-306-6967 and we will pass the message to our caterer.

Will there be activities for kids?

Answer

Yes!! There will be outdoor yard games, kids activity table, and an evening outdoor fire.

Question

Is there a shuttle to the venue from Microtel Moorhead?

Answer

Yes!!! A free shuttle will be available for Hotel guests from Microtel Moorhead to Rustic Oaks before and after the ceremony. The shuttle will leave starting approximately 45 minutes prior to ceremony time, depending on how many trips will need to be made. Please let front desk know when you check in that you are wanting to ride the shuttle to Rustic Oaks. Shuttle Driver will ask hotel guests when they wish to return and driver will set a couple times to return in the evening to pick up guests from Rustic Oaks.
