From childhood neighbors to engaged! Though we were only a couple doors down from each other our worlds and friend circles never collided through our younger years. 13 years of being away from South Bend for college to travel nursing throughout the country, Michelle returned back to South Bend in January of 2021 from New York. Through the initial months of being back, both mothers had dropped hints to each other of each of us being single and in town; the start of a hallmark movie begins. Though the mothers did plant the seed, it took about 8 months before we connected over a glass of wine, just hours after Corey closed on his childhood home. The solid foundation our parents instilled into us, our values, our faith and the love for Notre Dame has been the most influential element in propelling our relationship each and every day to strive for a full life, filled with love, faith and of course Notre Dame Football.

A puppy is what Michelle wanted for her birthday. A puppy and a RING are what Corey got her! We cannot wait to see the many gifts God has in store for our life together.
