What is the dress code?

Answer

We request semi-formal attire. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass and paving stones, so we suggest comfortable footwear.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

As much as we’d love to invite all of our friends’ children, we are unable to accommodate everyone and politely request that our ceremony and reception be adults only. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on the lawn and paving stone terraces surrounding the gardens. The reception will be hosted indoors in Curtis Hall and the adjacent climate controlled tent over the courtyard.

Question

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Transportation will be provided for guests from downtown Philadelphia to Curtis arboretum. The shuttle bus will depart the Sonesta hotel at 3:30 pm for drop off at Curtis arboretum at 4:30 pm. The bus will depart at the conclusion of the reception at 10:15 pm and arrive back to the Sonesta hotel at 11:00 pm.

Is there parking at the venue?

There is plenty of parking on site, including several handicapped access spots.
