Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us.

Brittany McGinnis

Maid of Honor

My sister and I have always been very different in many ways. We are five years apart but we have grown closer over the years. So close that she even copied my occupation. She has always been the better sister. She's funny, sensitive, intelligent and can be air-headed at time (Brittany gets it from our mother). Brittany has always been wise beyond her age and continues to blossom as she gets older.

Nikki Wood

Bridesmaid

My sweet Nikki. Her and I met at a dog park one day when we both lived in the ghetto part of downtown Orlando. I had recently moved to 55 West and she came up to me with her warm energy and introduced herself. A couple of days later, we had our first sushi date and immediately hit it off. We both share the same sense of humor (dark and weird) and have always been close since we met, although she lives across the country now, we still manage to send each other weird and funny memes everyday, I love her like a sister. She is one of the most considerate, sweet gals I know. It is a gift that I get to call her my bridesmaid.

Lauren Serrao

Bridesmaid

I met Lauren when I worked in the ED at Altamonte. I don't remember the exact moment we met but I remember her spunky, fun personality. We immediately clicked and laughed a lot together. She's always full of so much energy that every morning before work I'd always wonder how the hell she had so much energy at 6:30a.m. While I was in school for my Nurse Practitioner, she transferred over into the same class as me. We became study buddies and would text each other once a week saying "why did we agree to get our master's?". She has always been there for me and has always been a true and loyal friend. She is one of my favorite people. I'm so blessed I get to call her my bridesmaid.

Morgan Cyrus

Bridesmaid

Morgan, Melissa, Lauren and I all became very close while we endured the tortures of working in the E.D. at Altamonte, we bonded over sick patients and I knew they had my back. I consider Morgan as one of my closest friends, we could go days without talking but continue where left off. Her energy is calming and she is such a supportive friend. I love her to death. We created a sister bond when I worked at Altamonte, I always loved working with her. Every time Morgan and I worked together, I'd know she would have my back. So glad to call her one of my bridesmaids.

Melissa Wilson

Bridesmaid

Melissa's calm, quiet energy drew me to her. We bonded over our fascination of travel and wanting to try new things. She has always been open to trying and experiencing new things. Although we don't work together anymore, we've always kept in contact and still hang out. She is one of my favorite gal pals I know and such a supportive friend. I'm so happy that I get to call her my bridesmaid.

Benji Hurlburt

Best Man

I met Benji in 6th grade art class. He was a mess. He was wild. I never imagined we'd be glued at the hip for the next 6+ years. Benji and I discovered improv together when we were 13 (and later, SAK), which forged a meaningful connection between us that continues to this day. He's a Yale grad and a Major in the US Air Force. We've been in the back of a cop car together, but I can assure you both of our records are clean. If you were in attendance at Benji's wedding, you would have noticed that I was HIS best man. I would like to think we are best friends, but I don't make any assumptions that that sentiment is reciprocated. I only hope he can forgive me for all the hell I put him through in middle school. He knows what I'm talking about...

Brian Fery

Groomsman

I met Brian when we were both 7 years old. We bonded over having identical bicycles. Ever heard of a "Mudslinger"? Brian and I went to school together starting in second grade (I think!) and continued all the way through high school graduation. Brian is now a ravenously ambitious Orlando attorney. He's had at least 7 times as many girlfriends as me, and is naturally more handsome. There isn't anyone in the world closer to being a brother to me than Brian.

Adam Scharf

Groomsman

I first met Adam when scouting him out at a local coffee shop circa 2010 while he was doing an improv set with his comedy partner. He was a young man and was thrilled to have Chris Dinger, SAK Comedy Lab legend, attend his performance. We chatted after the show. It was clear he really looked up to me. He began performing at SAK and we became friends. Our relationship soon evolved to roommates, and we lived side-by-side for about 5 years. Me, Adam and Lawrence (also a groomsman) created an inseparable gang, bond, brotherhood that persists to this day. Adam sits among a very small collection of my favorite people in the world.

Lawrence Collins

Groomsman

Lawrence is an Orlando attorney and performer at SAK Comedy Lab. A mutual friend introduced me to Lawrence at SAK circa 2005. He was dry, acerbic, highly intelligent, had a dark sense of humor, and was 30% smaller in those days. I knew we had to be friends. Our friendship can be measured in meals. In the intervening years between then and now, I estimate we've eaten at least 2,000 meals together. Extrapolating from there, it's clear I've watched this man consume over 3,000 pounds of food and drink. Nothing could be more intimate. Along with Adam, I have shared more meaningful moments with Lawrence than anyone over the past 10+ years. He's a loyal friend and ranks somewhere solidly in the middle of all my groomsmen.

Felipe Ferreira

Groomsman

Felipe doesn't intersect my SAK friend groups much, but he's an important figure in my life. We attended high school together, but in different grades. Our friendship was forged through our mutual entrepreneurial interests. At one point in my early 20's, Felipe lured me into a business that lost both of us around $150,000 collectively. We've both bounced back nicely, but I'll never forgive him for those early losses. Strangely, Felipe continues to be an important business partner and collaborator of mine. We own some rental houses jointly and recently started a new business together. Knowing Felipe's track record, I don't expect much from this new endeavor. Felipe is the VP of Residential Lending for a local bank that he manipulated me to invest in. I love this guy.

Ian Covell

Groomsman

Ian Covell was the 6th and last person I added to my list of groomsmen. We did SAK together. He wasn't originally included when I only had 5 spots. I just go back further with the other guys, except for Adam, but there was NO WAY I could leave Adam out given how close we've been for the past 7-8 years. Michelle added a 6th, so it allowed me to bring Ian into the fold. When filling out this form, I wasn't totally sure if his last name was spelled with one "L" or two. Ian was my old Adam essentially. We lived together for two years between 2009 and 2011, and did everything together. His pessimism, cynicism and anger collide with a wickedly dark sense of humor making him one of my favorite people to spend hours with on the phone. I love this guy more than you'd suspect from this description.
