The Adventure Begins

This beautiful love story started no other than at a friend's summer pool party after many missed connections. The night they met, they stayed up past the sun rising, talking and laughing. They knew they had to see each other again. What they consider their first date took place at Mellow Mushroom, where they spent 9 hours talking, laughing, and sharing stories about each other's lives. They were there from when the restaurant opened to when it closed. Was love baking? Early into their relationship, the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Instead of growing apart, the two grew closer together. While the world was on lockdown, the two took advantage of traveling, taking road trips to beautiful locations. During these trips, stuck in a car for hours together without ripping each other's heads off, they realized, "Hey this might be something kind of serious." Over the next few years, Shelli and Chelsea continued traveling, enjoying each other's company, and supporting each other through graduate school and major career changes. Everyday they chose to love one another-- although some days were easier than others. During one of their trips, Chelsea surprised everyone when she proposed to Shelli on a cliff... and who would say no in that scenario? And now here we are, planning another trip, but this time inviting our most cherished friends and family to join us as we embark on this new journey in our life.
