How We Met

It all started with a message on hinge...

I was driving home to Iowa when I got a notification on my phone that somebody had messaged me on Hinge. Being new to the dating app, Hinge, I was excited to see what prince charming had messaged me and what smooth pick up line they had used. When I opened my message, there it was, a smooth pickup line from a Chad Jansky that read...."What's your crazy ass doing in that pic?" From that first message, it was an instant connection that continued to grow. Over the next two weeks, we constantly texted back and forth, I forced Chad into a first phone call to make sure he was real, and made plans to meet up in person when I returned to Texas for a first date. On August 10th of 2018, Chad swept me off my feet with our first date and hasn't stopped since. As we met for the first time, I ran through the rain and jumped in his truck almost sitting on the most beautiful bouquet of flowers he had waiting for me on the seat. The flowers were blue and orange, which made them even more special because Chad had bought tickets for us to go to an Astros game at Minute Maid Park. Our first date was filled with laughter, comfort, and a feeling that I had met someone truly special that would be in my life for awhile. As the story goes....the rest was history.
