Answer

Please arrive by 2:45 to give yourself time to arrive, mingle and be seated. The ceremony will begin PROMPTLY at 3:00p

Question

Can I bring a date or my children or anyone else?

Answer

When you are on the RSVP page, after entering your name, if it displays more than one Guest, then yes you can bring an extra person. Otherwise we are sorry, we are unable to accommodate extra guests.

Question

Answer

There is a few parking spots at the fire department. Additional parking will be available, just follow the signs. Please DO NOT BLOCK the equipment from getting out.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome. However, we have a limited number of guests space, so only those that are invited may attend.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar with beer and wine only. The drinks are free, but don't forget a few bucks to tip the bartender! Lemonade, Tea, and Water will also be available. There is a soda machine available that helps support the department. Please drink responsibly! If you plan on having a few drinks, make sure you have a DD or a plan - our venue is in Benedict so Lyft may not be an option.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

You do you! Think of it like how you would dress for church. Depending on what church you attend this could mean, khakis, nice jeans, a button down, a polo, a suit jacket, a cute dress, a romper...whatever you want, really. Just know that if you show up in Nike shorts or hunting camo, this event will be heavily photographed and you will be haunted for years to come.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

YES, we encourage our guests to post pictures on their social media channels, we only have two requests! First, we ask that you refrain from taking flash photos during the ceremony and to please be mindful of our photographer, please don't make her dodge cell phones to get her pictures. Second, we ask that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #HesMakingHerMAD so we can keep track of all our pictures. Please also, don't forget to post them to our Facebook Group Page. We look forward to seeing what moments everyone captures.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests are invited to go inside to the EMS Bays where the reception will be held. There will be finger foods and beverages available. Please take a moment to find your table and make sure you have a drink for the Welcome Toast.
