Merry Christmas

This love story got its start over twenty years ago in 2003 when Bobby and Michelle were in high school. Bobby was a Junior at Valley Catholic and Michelle was a Sophomore at Sunset High School. Bobby was Michelle’s first boyfriend and first kiss, they dated for a few months then like most young couples do they parted ways. Fast forward to 2021 where thanks to online dating they swiped right and reconnected. This time for good.

Bobby and Michelle chose to have a very small and intimate destination wedding at a historic fort located in beautiful Port Townsend Washington. Fort Worden was established in 1902 as part of an initiative to fortify the American coastlines. The Port Townsend based fort is part of a three fort gauntlet, with Forts Casey and Flagler, dissuading opposing forces from attempting to take on the Tacoma shipyards. Fort Worden remained active until 1953, never firing an active round. We chose Port Townsend as our wedding location because it is very similar to the beauty of the San Juan Islands, where Michelle grew up spending many summers on Shaw Island with her family.
