Blair had planned out everything perfectly that day. That morning he told me about something called red tide and said how we should go down to the beach and see if we could see anything. Something about seaweed and sea water, not really sure ;) So we went down to Kayak. We walked out on the pier and down along the beach. About halfway down, he pulled out a Penguin beanie and put it on. Then handed me a blue pebble. At that point, I was pretty positive I knew what was going on! I love penguins and I know that when the male penguin find his true love, he searches the beach for the prettiest pebble to present her with. We walked a little further and in the sand, written in seashells said "will you marry me?" Blair got down on one knee and proposed 😍. Turns out our family and a few friends had been hiding in one of the shelters the whole time, so they came out to congratulate us! There was a lunch set up, along with champagne for toasting and a cake with our names on it and Smore's. They even set up a cool photo backdrop, with the theme "fall in love". It was a very special day!!
Hi everyone! On August 26, 2017 we will be exchanging wedding vows, in front of immediate family, down on our dock at Lake Goodwin. Then on September 16, 2017 we will be having a reception, in Stanwood, for all of our family and friends! We hope to have you all there celebrating with us! There will be dinner, drinking, dancing, dessert and lawn games. A fun, casual night to celebrate the start of our life as husband and wife. We are very excited for this next chapter 💙💚
