Maid of Honor
Alicia is not only my sister, but my very best friend. Although we are six years apart, we have always been and still remain very close. We have been roommates as children (where we used to stay up way too late talking and laughing) and again later in life as adults in San Francisco (where we also often stayed up too late talking!). She has always been supportive, encouraging and has been there for me in ways that only a sister can be. Alicia is such a kind, fun-loving and all around beautiful person and I am so lucky to be able to call her my sister, my best friend and now my Maid of Honor!
Best Man and Officiant
Daniel and I met freshman year of college as roommates in the dorms. 18 years later, DG has been my roommate, housemate, beer pong partner and enemy, fantasy sports opponent, co-worker at Synectics for 8 years, best-man, and best friend. Daniel helped plan our engagement in Annapolis, and I'm ecstatic he agreed to be the officiant of Michelle and my wedding.
Maid of Honor
Drea and I met our sophomore year of high school at Oak Grove. We instantly became friends and have been best friends ever since! From being on our high school cheerleading team together, to being roommates in Davis and in San Francisco, to trips to Tahoe, to her making a big move to New York - we have been through so much together. Although we've now lived thousands of miles apart for the past few years, it's like a day has not passed whenever we see each other. Drea is so much fun to be around and has an amazingly infectious laugh (if you don't know her yet or haven't heard it, you're in for a treat!). She is more like a sister to me and I am so thrilled to have her stand by my side as my Maid of Honor.
Best Man
John and I met (impossibly hard to comprehend) 30 years ago in kindergarten at St. Veronica. We've been best friends since I could remember, playing sports on many of the same championship teams, competitively playing each other in video games, traveling to Europe together (with Kevin and Mike), and later having the same profession. Despite not living near each other for many years, we've managed to maintain a close relationship. John's two cute little daughters, Caroline and Mallory, will be in our wedding as flower girls. I'm glad John will continue to be by my side as my Best Man.
Bridesmaid
Hilary and I met at my first job at BJ's Restaurant right after I graduated high school (15 years ago!). We instantly became close friends and even maintained our friendship when she moved to the East Coast for college. Hil and I have been travel partners, roommates (twice!), fellow Chevy's chips and salsa lovers, each other's wedding/holiday party dates, now each other's bridesmaids, and the list goes on and on! She can always put a smile on my face with her heartfelt words or her witty sense of humor. As a fellow bride going through the planning process, it's been so wonderful being able to bounce ideas off each other. I'm so thankful to have Hilary as my bridesmaid and friend!
Groomsman
Seth and I met in Santa Barbara through Daniel. I later went on to live with Seth for two years from 2008-2010. Since then, Seth has become a great friend and mentor. Seth has influenced me in many ways, from getting me into becoming a fan of soccer to becoming a new found carpenter. I value Seth's advise and friendship immensely and am thankful he'll be celebrating this special day with Michelle and I. Seth's cute little daughter, Taylor, will be a flower girl as well!
Bridesmaid
Courtney and I met very serendipidously while living in San Francisco. After meeting and running into each other randomly on 3 separate occasions, we started hanging out and became really close friends! She is truly one of the sweetest people that I know. Courtney was a huge part of my life while living in San Francisco - from many Giants games, to trips to Tahoe, to festivals in SF, we've shared too many fun times together to count! Courtney truly made my time living in San Francisco the absolute best. Courtney's adorable daughter Madison will be one of our flower girls :) I'm so excited to have both of them be a part of the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Gina is not only my friend, but my soon to be sister-in-law! Over the time that Anthony and I have been together, Gina and I have gotten to know each other well and have become great friends. She immediately welcomed me into the Tallerico family (phew!). Gina recently moved to Sacramento and although we don't get to see each other all the time, we keep in touch on a weekly basis. She is so easy to talk to and is so fun to be around. I'm looking forward to continuing our friendship as sister-in-laws :)
Groomsman
Kenny and I met long ago playing baseball in South City. We became good friends in high school at Sacred Heart Cathedral and have maintained an even closer relationship since. I lived with Kenny for two year when we both moved back to San Francisco at the same time. I was honored to be the officiant in Kenny's wedding (with Sarah Scannell). Michelle and I visited the Scannell's in 2017 in Scottsdale and had an awesome weekend seeing some of our favorite bands in a crazy thunderstorm. Michelle and I also plan on spending a great weekend away with Kenny (and Sarah) in Austin in late February.
Bridesmaid
Sahar and I met over 5 years ago while working at Salesforce (where we both still work). Anyone I've ever known that meets Sahar almost immediately makes a connection with her. Needless to say, her and I became good friends pretty shortly after meeting for the first time. She has such a warm presence and friendly demeanor, it was so easy to befriend her and get to know her. She is wise beyond her years and as long as I've known her, I've always looked up to her and have looked to her for advice in every aspect of life. I'm so thankful that Salesforce brought us together and that I'll have her as a lifelong friend!
Groomsman
Mike and I became good friends in high school at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Harris (and John) spent a memorable summer in Isla Vista in 2002, where we had many beers and battles on the basketball court. Mike and I continued our Euro trip in 2005 after Figone and Nern left, seeing Munich, Prague, Amsterdam and London together. Mike willfully jumped off of a moving trolley to make sure I was okay, forever cementing our friendship. I lived with Mike on Divisadero St in SF when I met Michelle in 2016. Mike had a front row seat to our rapidly developing relationship and now gets a front row seat at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Laura (or Lauda as I like to call her) and I became friends during our sophomore year of high school at Oak Grove. We share so many fun memories together, it's hard to keep track! Although there were times where we've lived countries apart, we have always managed to maintain our friendship. I love Laura's warm personality and silly sense of humor. As a long time friend, I'm so happy to have her be a part of the wedding.
Groomsman
I met Adam in 2001 at UCSB. He and I were the same major and (rarely) studied together for midterms and finals. I was roommates with Adam in 2004 on Del Playa where we hosted many oceanside parties. I worked with Adam for 9 years at Synectics, traveling the world together from casino to casino. Heis has been an incredible friend, whom I've shared literally countless memories with, whether it was in SB, LA, NY, HK or SG. I'm glad Adam will be in our wedding, celebrating more memories in Tahoe.
Bridesmaid
Lupe is my new sister-in-law (as of this year) and I couldn't be happier! We have spent many fun family vacations together in Tahoe and most recently, for her and Chris's wedding in Maui. Lupe is one of the most thoughtful, caring and sweetest people that I know and I am excited to have her stand by my side as I marry Anthony!
Groomsman
I met Chris, Michelle's brother, in 2016 relatively soon after Michelle and I began dating. Since then we've shared memories floating down a river in Truckee, and celebrating his wedding in Maui. Chris makes the best omelette casserole. Despite being an A's and Raiders fan, we luckily share a love for the Warriors. Chris has welcomed me into the Velasquez family and I'm excited to be his future brother-in-law.
