Flight
This is the airport to fly into. From here you can take a taxi or the metro, both get you quickly into the city center. You will reach the city center within 20-30 min fro the airport. One of the easiest ways is to take a taxi directly from the airport. This will take approximately 20-25 minutes and cost around 200-300 DKK (Danish Kroner). You will find the Taxies just outside terminal 3. Note that Uber does not work in Denmark.
Train
Copenhagen Central Station (København H) This is the train station directly across the street from our hotel (Villa Copenhagen) and you have easy acces by direct from Copenhagen Airport to the Copenhagen Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård). The train station is located in Terminal 3 and the journey takes around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the central station, you will find the Villa Copenhagen (our hotel) just outside (a 3-5 min walk)
Hotel
Villa Copenhagen is a new social scene in Copenhagen. The former Danish Post and Telegraph office is centrally located near the wedding day venue. Villa Copenhagen is our hotel for the weekend - we will provide the accomadation for all guests.
Train
Getting from Copenhagen Airport to the city center by train and metro is very easy and convenient. Firstly, after arriving at the airport, you can follow the signs to the train station located underneath Terminal 3. From there, you can take the train towards Copenhagen Central Station, which runs every 10 minutes during the day and takes approximately 13 minutes to reach the city center. Once you arrive at Copenhagen Central Station, you can transfer to the metro system. The metro station is located right next to the train station, and you can take either the M2 or M3 line towards Vanløse or Kastrup respectively, depending on where you want to go in the city. The metro runs every 4-6 minutes during the day and takes approximately 5-10 minutes to reach the most popular destinations in the city center. Overall, the entire journey from Copenhagen Airport to the city center by train and metro takes around 30 minutes, making it a quick and efficient way to get around.
Travel Note
Hop-on hop-off buses are a popular way to explore Copenhagen and its many attractions. These buses operate on a loop that covers all the major tourist destinations in the city, including landmarks such as the Little Mermaid statue, Nyhavn, and Tivoli Gardens. Passengers can get on and off the bus as many times as they like during the validity period of their ticket, which can be for 24 or 48 hours. This allows for a great deal of flexibility in exploring the city at your own pace. The buses are typically double-decker, open-top vehicles that provide a great view of the city as you travel. They come equipped with multilingual audio guides that offer commentary about the sights you are passing by. Overall, hop-on hop-off buses are a convenient and popular way to see Copenhagen's main attractions while providing the flexibility to customize your itinerary to your interests and schedule.
