Johnson Estate's founder, Fred Johnson, was a Navy pilot and his son, when he has time, loves flying small airplanes. Mazza Chautauqua Cellars
Since the early 1970s, Mazza’s main focus has been creating Lake Erie wines of distinction, beginning with Mazza Vineyards in North East, PA. In 2005, they began a small craft-distilling operation across the stateline at the Mayville Mazza Chautauqua Cellars location, also offering a unique line of wines from their original location. Demand for distilled products grew, as did their thirst for offering customers new products to enjoy, and the expansion of the distillery became an obvious next step.
