Andrew: Being the king of romance that I am, I planned nothing in advance and everything worked out perfectly. Truthfully, I had a rough idea in my mind...which was to propose in Ireland...but it wasn't until the last stop, on our last tour, of our last day in Ireland, that everything fell into place. Michelle: Of course I thought our trip would be an ideal time to propose, but I WATCHED him pack like a nosy Mrs. Dursley and noticed nothing. He really kept me guessing and seemed totally relaxed! If I had a diamond ring in my backpack, I would have been in such a panic that I would have proposed on the plane! So I kept thinking, "maybe" but wasn't sure, and when a full week passed on our trip, full of picturesque moments and no ring...I was definitely doubtful. Then came our last day in Ireland, a small group tour around the ring of Kerry. The RING of Kerry. Still at this point he had no real plan lol. Apparently every time he wanted to propose I was "too cold" or "afraid of heights". Poor guy couldn't catch a break! At our last stop on the tour, we stopped at the bottom of a valley. It was just our small tour so it wasn't overcrowded as many stops were. Thankfully I was warm and on solid ground. The tour guide asked if anyone wanted her to take their picture. Andrew said "let's get a picture" ... and my response "Nah, we already have enough". So he kept pestering me until finally I said okay. Almost everyone was back on the bus at this point as the tour guide started taking our picture. After about two regular pictures, he got down on one knee and said "Michelle" in a voice I will never forget lol. I turned and looked at him and immediately started laughing. Because when it happens, you're like...what am I supposed to do? Anyways, he got the words out and I said yes!! Our tour guide meanwhile was beside herself with glee and kept snapping pictures which is why we now have the whole moment captured in real time. Andrew's lack of planning has never worked out better!
