Go for a walk in the public garden after strolling down Newbury Street. You can take a Swan Boat ride in the garden as well.
Our favorite place to go for a run, walk, or casual bike ride. There are a few spots that are great for a picnic as well.
A whole neighborhood full of authentic Italian restaurants. Come early or make reservations, it gets busy on the weekends especially. Go to Mike's Pastries for dessert! This is our favorite place to carbo load before a local race or just go out for a delicious dinner.
Rent kayaks on the Charles River. A great activity for a nice day.
Come check out Alex and Michelle's neighborhood! Our favorite restaurants are Mad Monkfish, Si Cara, Little Donkey, and Viale. For a drink, try Brick & Mortar. For ice cream, try New City Microcreamery--we make weekly visits here, but Toscanini's next door is also great.

This is one of our favorite hikes that is a short drive from the city (less than 2 hours). The hike is a little over 4 miles round trip and an intermediate level. We usually do the White Dot/White Cross trail.
Check out the museum or The Witch House for some history on the witch trials.
