The love story of Adam and Michelle begins in the sleepy suburban town of Greece NY, just outside the city of Rochester. Despite both spending some formative years here, they never crossed paths, even though they were only a couple miles apart. Their careers brought them both to the NYC area, but it wasn’t until a global pandemic hit that they were brought together – with the help of a humble dating app:) The general questions quickly turned into detailed questions…what part of Rochester were you from….which high school in Greece did you go to. The rest is proverbial history….what followed was an unbelievable connection rooted in professional and personal similarities, including a love of food, travel, family and laughter….lots of laughter.

After 8 months of happiness together, it came time for the next step….the proposal. Unfortunately, Adam’s best laid plans were all for naught thanks to some holiday breakthrough cases. This was itself symbolic, as they met during a global pandemic, but also because it provided a week+ of alone time in quarantine…a final test of their relationship. At the stroke of midnight on December 31st, Adam ended their isolation toast with a proposal, and Michelle said yes to the start of a new life together.
