Marianne and I met as co-workers ten years ago working at Roger's Marketplace. We became fast friends and I am so lucky to be the godmother to her two amazing boys. Marianne and I have been there for each other through a lot of tough times in both of our lives, bonded together by lunch dates and our love of chick flicks. She's a lifelong friend who is like family!

Morgan and I met because she was dating my brother! It didn't take long for us to realize that we were friendship material and our friendship has grown throughout the years we've known each other. We always have a good time together, whether we're going to shows at the 5th Avenue Theater or watching trashy reality TV while we have sleepovers. Morgan gets me in a way that no one else does and she is amazing!

Elise is the only friend I met in high school and kept in touch with after! Our friendship has stood the test of time. She has a beautiful soul and we have not let distance separate us when one of us has moved to Bellingham, Olympia or Oregon. She is one of my closest friends who I share my heart with, trusting her with anything that I'm going through. I am so blessed to have her in my life!

Karin is the sister that I never got! Her marrying my brother has led to an awesome friendship with she and I. She puts everyone at ease in her presence, being the perfect mix of understanding and silly. She is insanely talented and has been a big part of some great memories of my life since she came into it years ago. I can't imagine what life would be like if she wasn't part of our family. I love her to pieces!

Hannah gets the award for longest friendship - we've known each other since we were 2 and 3! I spent nearly every day of my childhood with her by my side. She has been my sister at heart and we are always there for each other if we need anything. Her family is my family and I am so excited to keep seeing what the future holds for our friendship as we continue to grow up together!

Chris and I met in high school, became friends extremely fast, and then became best friends. We've seen each other at our best times and our worst times. Chris is one of the first people that I would call if I need something. Our love of video games has kept us together even when he was across the world.

Kevin and I met in middle school where he proceeded to bean me in the head with water balloons over and over again. We spent a lot of summers together playing in the woods and hanging out. We remained really close friends through high school and even through him going to college. No matter what or how much time had been spent apart, we always come back together like we've never missed a beat. I lived with Kevin for 3+ years and he's always been there for me.

Dan and I met in Pre-First. When I was burned, we lost touch because we went to separate schools. Dan met me again in high school and we've stayed friends throughout the years, lived together once, and no matter what, I know he is a great friend. Even if a lot of time passes in between us seeing each other or talking, we always find each other again.
Jeff Henderson

Jeff, aka JJ, is my older brother. I have literally known him my whole life! JJ and I were always really close growing up. It might have to do with our age (we're a year and 20 days apart) or our personalities. I remember when we were growing up, JJ would hold me at night when I was having a nightmare. I would start to feel better but he would still keep me in his bed with him to keep me safe. I'm happy he's going to stand beside me on this day.

Mark and I met at camp when I was 12 or 13. He was my camp counselor for 6 years. At camp, Mark and I would have deep, heart-to-heart conversations about life as a burn survivor. After I graduated from being a camper to becoming a camp counselor, Mark and I continued our friendship outside of camp. Mark has always been those for those heart-to-heart conversations and a good cry if I've needed it.

Nick is Michelle's younger brother. I know how much Michelle and Nick's relationship means to them. I'm very honored to have Nick by my side on this day to not only support me, but to support his sister. After our wedding day, Nick will be my family. Even though we haven't had too much time to get to know each other yet, I see him as a very kind and loving man.

Conner is Adam's second cousin. Conner is an extremely cute kid who loves to play video games, smile, laugh, and just be adorable! Adam's car broke down one Thanksgiving and Adam had to stay the night at Conner's house. In the morning, Adam was walking out of the house and Conner didn't want Adam to leave. He hugged Adam and said, "Please don't go!" Conner has had Adam's heart since day one.

Ainsley is Adam's second cousin. We knew the moment we got engaged that we wanted Ainsley to be our flower girl. She has a sweet and silly spirit. She clings fiercely to those she loves and once she warms up to you, you feel so special! She loves to sing, dance, and be an overall girly-girl. Be prepared for cuteness overload when she walks down the aisle!

My dad and I have always been close. We've developed a myriad of nicknames for each other over the years and more inside jokes than I can keep track of. My dad is everything I could have ever asked for and more as a male role model in my life. He's one of the best listeners and funniest people I know. We always have fun together and we just "get" each other. Walking down the aisle with him on my wedding day will be one of the best memories of my life and I can't wait to share that special moment with him.

My mom has always been there for me no matter what I've needed in my life. She's a natural caregiver who does everything in her power to be there for others when they need her. Throughout my life, she's created amazing traditions within our family and been the glue to hold everyone and everything together. My mom and I have become especially close in recent years as I've launched into adulthood and I have more admiration and respect for her every day. I have an amazing mom and having her by my side through every moment of our wedding day means so much to me!

My mom and I have really been through a lot in life together. My mom had to sit there and watch her son die after I was burned. She had to spend many hours in a room alone waiting for me to come out of surgeries, where she knew I could die. My mom would never leave my side when I was in a coma, holding my left hand, running her hands through my hair singing "You are my Sunshine." My mom would hold me whenever I had a nightmare and I couldn't seem to get myself back from it. My mother is the strongest woman I've ever met in my life.

Angela is a former co-worker of Michelle's. As soon as she heard that we were engaged, she immediately offered without hesitation to be our wedding coordinator. We couldn't be putting our wedding in better hands than hers! She is extremely organized and gets things done without getting frazzled or frustrated. We are so thankful for her!

Kate and I became friends shortly after she began working with me at Compass Health about 3 years ago. We began leading groups together at work and saw that we made a really good team because of how different we are. Our co-worker relationship has blossomed into a beautiful, lasting friendship. Kate brings so much joy and laughter to my life and she's one of my favorite people to talk to!
