The night was young and the air was crisp. Michelle walked into one of her favorite neighborhood bars, Union Hall. Little did she know it would be her last first date...Little did Abe know that it would be the first and only time Michelle was punctual. The bar was crowded, but Michelle made her way up to the front. She texted Abe “should I grab you a beer?”. Michelle ordered a lager and an IPA and made her way to a quiet corner near the bocce court. Moments later, Abe arrived. Michelle was immediately relieved as Abe flashed his million dollar smile. Michelle had feared that Abe may not have any teeth since he never included a photo of himself smiling on his Hinge profile. Laughs were shared, beers were cheered, and sparks were almost flying. Abe, like the mid-western gentlemen he is, offered to walk Michelle home. They stood hand in hand at the bottom of Michelle’s Park Slope stoop. It was there where they shared their first kiss. One spark flew. Abe walked towards home and phoned his brother Aaron. He exclaimed “She was so great, she even paid for my drink”. Michelle laid down in bed and phoned her friend Kelly. “Everything was so great, but he let me buy his drink”.

It was their first day in Paris and today was the day...it was goin down! After brunch at a small Café Abe and Michelle headed out for a day of sight seeing. First stop - the Eiffel Tower. Walking through a sculpture garden with the Eiffel Tower in the near distance Michelle exclaimed "ah, how beautiful, lets take a picture!" Meanwhile, trying to hide his nerves and looking for the perfect spot to propose Abe was thinking "Should I do it here?" and didn't hear Michelle's suggestion. "Abe! picture over here!" Michelle exclaimed. After taking the first of many photos that were likely ruined because of Abe's closed eyes, the couple headed towards the Arc de Triomphe. Walking hand in hand towards the Arc de Triomphe Michelle was blown away by the Paris architecture and looking for the perfect lunch spot after the Arc. Meanwhile, still trying to hide his nerves and hoping Michelle wouldn't notice his increasingly sweaty palms, Abe was thinking "I hope the Arc isn't too busy...you have to do it at the Arc!" Michelle and Abe arrived at the Arc de Triomphe. Abe had the ring in his pocket...his palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, there's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti, he's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready to drop bombs...haha JK, but seriously Abe was nervous. After viewing the Arc from every angle and taking too many corny photos Abe spotted a quiet corner and suggested they take a few final photos. They got to the spot and Michelle rested her phone against a pillar to take a timed photo. While holding each other close trying to capture the moment Michelle noticed Abe's heart was racing. "ehh....lets take ONE more" Abe suggested. Michelle, a little apprehensive, stepped towards the pillar, and put her phone down for a final timed photo. As Michelle turned around Abe took her hands with the ring in his hand and said with a big grin on his face "There's something I want to ask you" and got down on one knee
