We're getting married!

Michelle and Aarav first met at, of all places, a wedding! There's some debate as to what day they truly first met- the rehearsal dinner the night before (Aarav) or the actual day of the wedding (Michelle). Regardless, they were paired up as a bridesmaid and groomsman in the wedding and hit it off right away. Aarav lived in New York at the time and Michelle was in Texas, so Michelle was skeptical that things would work out, but a few months later they went on a spontaneous trip Cozumel with some friends. After a long weekend of scuba diving and eating tacos, Aarav was reminded of how much he liked Michelle and decided to visit her in Texas a few weeks later, and the rest is history! Michelle and Aarav have been by each other's side through so many challenges, like Michelle's medical school and residency and Aarav's startup. Despite the long-distance, they have made it work and supported each other along the way. When Aarav decided to propose to Michelle, he knew that he wanted it to be surprising and meaningful. He surprised her with a trip back to Cozumel and popped the question on the beach, with a pirate party boat floating by in the background. Michelle and Aarav are so excited to start the rest of their lives together and can't wait to celebrate with all of you in March!
