How we met

2015

Taylor worked in a little restraunt a block from my apartment. The moment I saw him I knew I wanted to know him. I would take my friends there to eat telling them I was going to talk to that guy one day. I started with small talk, showing up sometimes 3 times a week. I did this for a few months stashing tons of leftover food in my fridge. Lol. I finally asked him out. We hung out, had a few hunting adventures and started acro yoga together. We made it official September 9th 2015, boyfriend and girlfriend. The start of this grand adventure and wild ride.

How we met

Couldn’t wait to see you again

Each time Michelle would come into the shop I became more and more infatuated. The first time I saw her she was wearing her tye dye sun dress and was so confident and intriguing. I knew right away that I wanted to know as much about her as I could. She talked about her skydiving adventures, how she was an archer and her upcoming Vegas trip. I kicked myself wishing I had the courage to ask her out before she left on that trip, wondering when I might see her again. Then she was back and I didn’t skip a beat.

The Proposal

Forever my person

We love taking day trips to Estes park. It was one of our very first dates. After Ronan was born we hadn’t gone out much so when Taylor said we were going to Estes for the day I was ecstatic. We started the day eating at our favorite breakfast spot of all time, Snooze. Then made the journey to our waterfall in Estes Park. Instead of parking right at the waterfall we found a trailhead leading up to it a little ways away. It was warm but crisp. One of the last days of summer when you feel the cold about to arrive. The air up there away from the city is so clean. The views are tranquil and calm the spirit. We strolled through the trees arriving at the waterfall, listening to the water. It was the perfect setting. Taylor was on one knee stumbling over his lovely words with a ring in hand and our beautiful son strapped to his chest. Beaming smile on my face I said yes! Of course I said yes. He is my best friend, my person.

For all the days along the way
