Maid of Honour
Michelle has been my best friend since we first met in grade 6. I remember the days when we would draw on each other’s agendas, colour-code our study notes together, and sing random songs she made up. We met Enxhi in high school, and since then, the three of us have become more like sisters than friends. I am honored to be part of Michelle’s special day, and wish her and Raph every blessing!
Best Man
Raphy and I became best buds through our illustrious stints on the high school badminton team where, in fact, our singing was the highlight of our careers. We met in high school where we really got to know each other through our many shared hobbies and interests. In 2016, we “backpacked” across Europe (the only backpacking we did was buy a backpack); biking around Barcelona, “climbing” Mt. Vesuvius (we took a bus 80% of the way up), and the most important part of all – catching Pokémon all along the way!
Maid of Honour
I met Michelle in 2012 when we were in grade 9 through Chaeyoung and it didn’t take long for the three of us to become inseparable. Our high school days were spent at the movies, bowling and shopping sprees together. We have remained close after high school despite pursuing studies in different cities and I am so excited that we are here 10 years later celebrating Michelle and Raphael’s union!
Groomsman
I am Raphael’s younger brother, the better brother might I add. I am always in search of an adventure to see where life takes me. I’m happy to see Michelle be part of the family and excited to see what adventures lie ahead of these two. This is definitely a sending-off-Ash-Ketchum-into-the-world type of moment.
Bridesmaid
I met Raphael during frosh week, where he became one of the first friends I made at Waterloo. He introduced me to Michelle during a trip to Wonderland, who is one of the sweetest people I know. Since that day, I've been a fangirl of their relationship! #bestcoupleever
Groomsman
I first met Raphael in high school. We had a lot of interests in common so we naturally got along. In 2016 we went on an amazing trip to Europe for a couple weeks. Now I have somehow ended up living and working there. Serendipitously Raphael was working in London for a brief period recently, which gave us the chance to hang out again in person. I hope to visit Raphy again soon now that he lives in New York!
Bridesmaid
I first met Michelle when I moved down the street from her in 2003. Though life has taken us in various different directions, Michelle remains one of my closest friends. On a typical day together, you would find us laughing at absolutely nothing. Over the years we have shared countless precious memories from growing up together, continuing our friendship long distance for a while, and reuniting in university, and now I am thrilled to be able to share this beautiful moment with her and Raph.
Groomsman
It was in the Singapore National Service that I first met Raphael. We were both in command school training to be sergeants. His little quirks and mannerisms revealed that he didn’t quite grow up in Singapore but it was through the shared necessity of having to struggle and support each other through the toughest times at that point in our lives as platoon mates that brought us together. Hopefully not too long in the future, we can be operationally ready in New York to be Neighbors and not just long distance friends!
Dog of Honour
I've known Michelle (who spoils me a lot) for as long as I can remember. I met Raphael 5 years ago and borked at him a lot when he first showed up. Over time, we've grown closer together as a family and can't wait to get even closer (so I can get more treats)! (Edit: as you can probably tell, this was written by Raphael).
