Flight
Out-of-town guests should fly into Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). We encourage you to arrive Friday night or Saturday morning, and to leave on Sunday evening (or stay in Detroit for as long as you'd like!). Once you arrive at the airport, you have 3 options for getting to Detroit: 1. The Detroit Airport Express shuttle (https://www.dax-bus.com/), which runs hourly and will take you to a location downtown that's about a 17-20 minute walk (or a 5 minute Uber) to the hotels and venue. The shuttle is $6 one way. 2. Rent a car: not a necessity since the events are all taking place in the same building. But we recommend it if you want more flexibility to explore the city (see our Things To Do tab for some ideas)! You can rent from a rental car company or through Turo; all of them should have airport pickup options. 3. You can also Uber or Lyft to your hotel. It's roughly $50-$60 to downtown Detroit, so we encourage you to coordinate with other wedding guests who are arriving around the same time.
Hotel
The Marriott at the Renaissance Center is in the same building as our wedding venue, the Highlands. This hotel is the most convenient option for our guests. We have a room block at this hotel at a discounted price through the link below (UPDATE: our room block is now closed, but the hotel may still have some rooms outside of the block).
Hotel
We also have a room block (use the link below) at the Courtyard Marriott in Downtown Detroit, which is right across the street from the venue (connected by a skywalk). (UPDATE: our room block is now closed, but the hotel may still have some rooms outside of the block).
