Vernon and Michell both attended a meet-up event in February 2023. However, they did not meet there...they actually both ended up going to the same after party at Shady Acres bar in the Heights. When Michell walked in and up to the bar to order a drink, she caught the attention of the amazing Vernon. Vernon took this opportunity to introduce himself and offer to order her a drink. As he proceeded to make fun of Michell's lack of preference in well vs shelf Vokda, he also took the time to specifically ask the bartender for a glass of TAP water. From that moment of making fun of one another and an evening of talking. They exchanged numbers and made a plan to go on their first date. Fast forward a couple dates later, Vernon invited Michell to go out of the country on a trip to the Dominican Republic with him for a friends birthday trip. Throwing caution to the wind she finally agreed and from then on the rest was history!
