This place has great beer, pizza and BBQ, many places to sit, and is right next to the Julian Pie Company for dessert.
Julian Pie Company is famous for a reason for their delicious pies. Our first time in Julian we bought frozen pies to bring home and bake (and also gifted one) - you will not regret this decision.
On our way to/from Julian, we always stop at Calico Cidery. Cute, family-owned orchard. The atmosphere there is great, plenty of seating throughout the orchard field and even chicken coups on site! They serve hard ciders & non-alcoholic as well.
If you love hiking like us, you can find many trails here with breathtaking panoramic views of rolling hills, pine forests, and golden meadows.
