Live music @ Little Bohemia :) He was so captivating with his exciting stories, so many interests we had in common! He might like me, he gave me a few prints of his art pieces when he walked me out to my car at the end of the night. These very pieces are framed and hanging on the wall in our office! My collection of Will's art continues to grow <3
Fish on! If you know Will, you are probably familiar with how he goes about planning special events. After a long week he planned a fishing trip for two out on our favorite little spot in Sleeping Bear. There has always been something about canoeing that has been metaphorical for us in regards to our relationship. I came home to find our canoe on his truck, and everything except the bait ready to go. We always dig our worms up together in the yard before we head out to "The Bass Hole". We got to Shell Lake in time to cast a few lines, and I was catching fish. After some gentle persuasion Will convinced me to put my rod down and turn around to face him in our little canoe for a better view of the sunset. As I turned around, he was walking towards me which was a very effective move to get me to pay attention to him instead of the fish as our little canoe started rocking. I held on to the boat to steady it and he got close enough to steal a kiss. William said some very sweet things about our life and about our future together. Then he pulled a ring out of his picnic basket and asked me if I would marry him. I said yes! He even packed some snacks, some nice white wine and our two little music festival jars to drink it out of. We had the entire lake to ourselves that evening and celebrated until the sun went down. William's best catch.
