We met through a mutual friend at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore (romantic, I know). He was an intern and I was a fourth year medical student. Our paths crossed on a few occasions and we ultimately hit it off at a dance club. Soon after, he asked me out for a dinner date. We went to a restaurant called "Dooby's" that was known for their ramen. Let's just say I've been addicted ever since- to both Simon and ramen!

We traveled to Denver for a forensic psychiatry conference I was attending. On a free day, he drove me to the top of "Lost Gulch Overlook" to enjoy the view. It was absolutely stunning. He nervously began telling me how much he loved me and then dropped down on one knee. The cherry on top was when the photographer jumped out of the bushes! * Spoiler Alert: We are moving to Denver one month after our wedding.*
