Question

Will children be invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we love the children in our families, this will be a child free event. We would love for everyone to have a fun night off to celebrate! The only exception is those included in the Bridal Party.

Question

Is the Ceremony outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Our backyard wedding will be hosted outdoors, rain or shine. We will have a very large tent that can accommodate us in case of rain. While an outdoor wedding in the summer time may be on the warmer side, small fans will be provided and the majority of the celebration will take place in the evening once the sun goes down. Please dress comfortably for the temperature.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal or garden party attire. What is "garden party" attire you might ask? Think whimsical, dressy, and designed to be worn outdoors. I will attach a link here for some inspiration. Please also keep in mind that all guests will be walking on grass so comfortable shoes are recommended. https://greenweddingshoes.com/garden-party-attire-dress-code/

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure that everyone is seated and we can get the party started as scheduled! Arrival between 6:00 and 6:15 is suggested.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Will it be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar through Events by Traveling Spirits with a variety of beer, seltzer, and wine options. If you plan to drink, uber is highly recommended.

Question

What are the meal choices?

Answer

We will be offering a buffet style dinner during our Reception that will be catered by a local restaurant.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Following our UNPLUGGED ceremony, so that our photographers and videographer can capture the moment without interference, yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag us in the photos so we can keep track of all of your pictures and re-post them ourselves!
