How did you first meet? We were part of our friends' wedding party - a bridesmaid and a groomsman (thanks, K & J!). Who made the first move? How? Michele claims that she introduced herself first. Brett: Drinking wine concealed in Dunkin' Donuts takeaway cups while narrating dog interactions at Tompkins Square dog park. Michele: Riding bike-share bikes around Boston in the middle of the night. We rode in the car lanes since there wasn't any traffic at that hour, sailed down hills in the fog, and cruised over Harvard Bridge. What's your favorite activity together? Trying out new recipes in our tiny galley kitchen. And traveling. Where are you going for your honeymoon? Hawaii over the New Year holiday... recommendations, please! What's the best meal you have eaten together? It was at Patente et Machin in Quebec City. We had the small staff give us suggestions or send out favorites because the menu changes nightly. Each course was more incredible than the last. What's the most memorable trip you have taken together? Our recent trip to Paris & London! How did he pop the question? We were visiting our folks in PA, and went down to Philadelphia for the day. When it was time for dinner, we went to a favorite: The Dandelion. A waitress came out shortly after we sat down with two flutes of champagne and an iPhone in hand. She told us it was the restaurant's anniversary, so she'd like to record patrons reading toasts to post to social media. We agreed (hello, free champagne!). Brett read a toast, and we clinked our glasses. Michele then read a toast, realizing halfway through that it wasn't about the restaurant, but about our relationship. It turned out that the waitress was filming using Brett's phone, so we have a keepsake of the moment! After a kneel and obvious "yes," we met friends and family who were waiting at a nearby bar - where we went on our first date - to celebrate.
