This is where Brad and I first officially met on Trivia Night! You see us post a lot of music videos here, one of the best places in Hendo to see live music! There are several other Breweries/Cideries/Wineries to visit while here. Most have music all weekend. Also in downtown are Southern Appalachian Brewery (Hendo's first brewery), Dry Falls, Booda's and our newest on the Ecusta Trail is Trailside Brewery. The Ecusta Trail (a rail to trail) opened this summer and runs from Hendersonville currently to Horse Shoe and eventually all the way west to Brevard.
The main street in our cute little town has so much to offer, from art to music, casual food to fine dining, you must see what we get to see every day!
Beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls just 15 mins away! October is primo for the beautiful fall colors, you will be amazed!
St Paul Vineyard is one of our favorite of the 6 local wineries! Recommend the Red - Chestnut Gap Cab. Here's some others within 15 min-ish of each other -- Burntshirt was the first, Sawyer Springs is a small quaint spot, Point Lookout for an amazing view, Marked Tree for the big city swanky as well as Stone Ash for upscale/newer and great views.
The fall colors should be at their peak! Take a drive or a hike and enjoy the colors and the beauty of our Blue Ridge Mountains and Western NC!
Very close to camp! Beautiful orchard with amazing fall colors. Try to cider donuts, hot cold cider or a pint of cider! Indoor kids play area.
