Question

Hotel Recommendations and Places to Stay

Answer

Kalispell, MT. There are plenty of hotels in Kalispell ranging in affordability. Kalispell is the closest town to the wedding location, so if you are looking for something convenient and close in proximity we suggest researching hotels here. Start your search by looking up hotels like Glacier International Lodge, Red Lion Hotel Kalispell, and Homewood Suites by Hilton. Whitefish, MT. Whitefish is about a 20-30 minute drive from our wedding location. It is one of the more well-known towns in Montana with a fun night life, gorgeous lake scenery, and delicious eateries. If you are looking for a more high-end stay, we suggest searching for hotels here; our favorite being the Firebrand Hotel. Glacier National Park Montana is a beautiful state home to many national parks including Glacier and Yellowstone. Glacier National Park is about a 40 minute drive from Kalispell and has the most incredible hikes with chances to see wildlife. While there are lodges in Glacier national park, they require reservations and can be booked out way in advance. If the Many Glacier Hotel and Lake McDonald Lodge lack availability, check out some nearby hotels located near Flathead lake like the Best Western Flathead Lake Inn and Suites or Coyote Bluff Estate. Yellowstone National Park Many have inquired about Yellowstone and its accessibility. Yellowstone is a 6 hour drive from Kalispell and is at the southern end of the state. It really is worth the drive, and if you chose to road trip from home, it could be a great pitstop on your way out. Regardless of where you choose to stay or how you decide to make the most out of your travel for our celebration, you will not be disappointed in Montana's big skies and breathe-taking landscape. PLEASE NOTE Airbnbs seem to be the most reasonably priced! Summer is peak touring season for Montana. Book in advance to ensure a place to stay and avoid price surges. We recommend reserving your staying accommodations before February.
