Space and Rocket Center
Michel grew up going here every year on field trips. They recently took her granddaddy (who worked for NASA), and he gave them the best tour you can get. Unfortunately he is unavailable on the day of the wedding, granddaughter getting married and all, but this is a great place to go and explore for a few hours!
Topgolf
This is Michel's family's favorite place to go for a fun night out! Great for the daytime too.
The Bridge Street
Bridgestreet is great for shopping, seeing a movie, eating, or seeing one of the biggest Christmas trees in the area!
Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q
While Ed loves his hometown barbecue, Michel is very partial to North Alabama barbecue. This is the original home of her favorite white sauce. Michel loves to order the nachos or a stuffed pork potato!
El Portal
This is where Michel's obsession for Mexican food originated. She went at least once a week when she lived in Hartselle. This is also the first place she took Ed when he came home with her for the first time.
Bentley's at the Outhouse
Fun fact about Hartselle: it has been a wet city for less than 5 years! This is the first bar to go in downtown. They have great food and live music.
Freight House Restaurant
Cute little restaurant with delicious food next to the train depot in downtown Hartselle.
Ninja Japanese Restuarant
The all time best place to get hibachi (and really cheap at lunch). Michel recommends the shrimp tempura roll and the scallop hibachi. Ed recommends the steak hibachi. And of course, double the yum yum sauce!
The Sassy Owl Boutique
For those of you always asking Michel where she gets her clothes...so much of her wardrobe comes from here! They have the cutest clothes, shoes, and jewelry.
