It is no secret that Jacob and Michela met online. It's a tale as old as time, a [tinder]ella story! October 2021, Jacob attended a baseball game in Atlanta, Georgia with his cousin. As he was heading back home to Paducah, Kentucky, Jacob made a pitstop at a Nashville gas station - bored, he decided to browse through Nashville girls on his online dating app. Michela, living in the Nashville area, was a few miles down the road, also bored and browsing through Nashville guys on her online dating app. The two came across each other's profiles and liking what they saw online, the two decided to swipe right! October 15, 2021: The 1st Message "Hey Gorgeous" Jacob initiated the first contact between him and Michela. The two hit it off great. They moved from messaging on the dating app to texting and snap chatting within the following weeks. They talked all day and all night, each day. Never coming to a day where there was nothing else to talk about. At the time, Jacob was living in Paducah, Kentucky and Michela was living in Ashland City, Tennessee. Jacob was in the process of moving to Nashville or Memphis for job offers he had received. His decision of where he was going to move was very simple, it helped that Michela was already within the Nashville area. November 21, 2021: Jacob Moves to Franklin Jacob moved to Franklin, Tennessee within a month of meeting Michela. The second day he moved into his new apartment, was the first day the two met in person! Though Jacob and Michela made a few arrangements to meet prior to his move, schedule conflicts and the 2 hour drive, was not favored by the two. Michela's First Impression of Jacob: "Wow, he's super tall and has the most beautiful blue eyes!" Jacob's Fist Impression of Michela: "She has a fun personality and a cute smile!" After they first met, Jacob and Michela spent the night unpacking Jacob's apartment! Her favorite was moving his underwear drawer! ;) The two laughed and talked all night - hitting it off great! Jacob and Michela hung out each weekend after that. Their relationship began to blossom and flourish. The two loved and still love spending their quality time together riding around backroads, discovering new places, and traveling to Atlanta or Memphis! Michela loved traveling and experiencing new things with Jacob. Jacob loved having someone to share his favorite places with! January 30, 2022 at 12:30(ish) AM: Memphis, Tennessee Jacob and Michela took a trip to Memphis, Tennessee to watch a Grizzlies basketball game. The entire weekend, Jacob kept referring to Michela as his girlfriend. Michela corrected Jacob, stating that he technically did not ask her to be his girlfriend yet. Jacob, courageously asked Michela to officially be his girlfriend inside Tin Roof! She obviously said YES! As their new official relationship went on, the love between Jacob and Michela only grew as the days went on. Michela loves everything about Jacob, his personality, his funniness, his politeness, his affection, and his spontaneousness! Jacob loves everything about Michela, her personality, how she quickly cracks jokes, how she keeps him on his toes, and her affection! Oh, and cannot forget Poncho - Jacob LOVES Poncho and Poncho LOVES Jacob! May 17, 2024: The Proposal Jacob and Michela had talked about marriage from the beginning. The two were dating with the end goal of marriage. Jacob proposed to Michela in the center of the Tri-Star at Bicentennial Park. Jacob arranged for his and Michela's friends to be there. After a day of work, the two came home, got a coffee table from their storage unit, went to dinner and Jacob asked Michela if she wanted to go for a ride around Nashville - something the two always did together in their spare time. Michela did not think anything was going on. She thought it was a regular night. He definitely surprised her! She obviously said YES through the tears! The newly engaged couple spent the night celebrating with their close friends!
