One of the things we love most about Provincetown are the dunes and the dune shacks, Art's is the oldest running dune tour and the guides are super knowledgeable.
This is a mile and a half hike across the dunes which brings you out to "the backside" of Provincetown which is Clay's favourite beach. This is the only way to get to the backside other than Art's Dune Tours or Topless Tours. You could also get a week long oversand permit through the Cape Cod National Seashore (our offshoot of the National Park Service) but that doesn't allow you access to the Dune Shack Trail. Bring water and snacks!
Both Michela and Clay's first jobs in Provincetown were at Flyer's, albeit twenty years apart. You can rent a boat from here or take their Long Point shuttle from Macmillan Pier to Long Point (Michela's favourite beach and the very tip of Cape Cod).
If it was big enough for everyone, the rehearsal dinner would have been on these boats, two sister ships, a restored hundred year old schooner and a replica of a 120 year old Scottish Cutter. Take a lunchtime or sunset sail, one of our favourite experiences.
A Stunning 7 mile bike trails that traverses around the beaches and forests of the Cape Cod National Seashore. You can also stop by the Race Point Visitors Centre on this loop or check out the old Coast Guard Station.
Bike rental right in the centre of town.
A can't miss art collection.
There are a plethora of entertainment and drag shows in Provincetown, Michela's favourites are Dina Martina, Showgirls (Monday nights only) and Thirsty Burlington!
