We met while Matt was working as a caterer for the culinary program while I was just starting my second quarter in the same program. One day Matt ended up coming over to the hand washing sink where I was and complimented my tattoos. Me, being shy at the time I quietly said a quick thank you and scurried away, Matt didn't hear me and thought I had just walked away. We didn't end up talking again until about a year later when a mutual friend ended up giving me his phone number at his request telling me I should try texting him. I did, and we started talking and the rest is pretty much history.
