"My dream wouldn't be complete without you in it" - Princess and the Frog

We met online at an online streaming platform where we bonded over our love of video games, Disney, Star Wars, and many other geeky things. We were also applying to graduate school at the same time so we had a lot in common when we first met. It was over 2 years before he decided to direct message me, with encouragement from one of our friends. Once we started privately messaging each other we both knew that it was meant to be. We started dating on 10/02/2020 when he told me that he liked me and has liked me for a long time and I told him I liked him too. Fast forward through many voice and video chats and in May of 2021 we finally met each other face to face in the Asheville airport. While visiting Elijah in North Carolina, we made a trip to the old family farm. There he showed me around and under an apple tree he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was a perfect moment just between the two of us. We are now excited to share the moment we get married with our friends and family!
