FAQs

What is the dress code? Are kids invited? What if I have a dietary restriction? When should I RSVP by? Where should guests park? Is parking free? What's the deal with Covid-19?
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail or semi-formal attire is encouraged! This Michalski Wine Mixer will be a mix of indoor/outdoor celebrating, weather permitting.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

I have a dietary restriction, what do I do?

Answer

We will be making sure to keep our friends with dietary restrictions in mind! Please let us know on your RSVP card if there is anything in particular we should know about, so we can help accommodate.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please try to have your RSVP to us by July 15th, 2021. Please also note that if you'd like to stay at the Park Place Hotel after the reception, you'll need to book your room by July 2 to get the group rate.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There will be free public parking at Mari Vineyards for the ceremony. If you will be staying at Park Place hotel, you may park for free as a hotel guest. If not, there is a public parking garage directly across from the entrance to the reception ballroom: Larry C. Hardy Parking Garage $1.00 per hour, $10.00 daily maximum/overnight Daily maximum restarts everyday at 7 AM The garage’s physical address is 303 East State Street. Single entry and exit lanes are located in the 300 Block of both Front Street & State Street.

Question

What's the deal with Covid-19?

Answer

Covid-19 cases in the Traverse City area have remained extremely low throughout the entire pandemic. While we understand that things are still very up-in-the-air in these unprecedented times, we would still love to see you at our event. We specifically chose the perfect place that our loved ones can travel to by driving, and feel comfortable staying in an area that has remained below the curve of covid-19 cases. Fingers crossed that things will look much better by 8/21/21! Please feel free to check out www.michigan.gov/coronavirus/ for more information.
