A quarantine love story... We found each other at an unlikely time: the 2020 global pandemic. And like all good 21st-century love stories, it started on the internet (shoutout Hinge!). Our date options were limited to picking up food and coffee, park picnics or enjoying the outdoors hiking Camelback Mountain. In the ongoing months, we spent hours and hours of quality time in conversation with one another. As we spent more time together, we came to realize that what we had was special. It's been quite the journey for both of us--career changes, moving to California, building a new community etc., but our commitment and strong foundation built with one another has helped us through all the trials and changes we have faced over the years. Our faith in our Lord has been our guide and source through our entire relationship, (all praise and glory to him). We are so excited to build a life together and start this next chapter of our lives. After much anticipation, on April 2, 2024, Garrett finally popped the question in the beautiful snow-covered mountains of San Bernandino National Forest in California. We can't wait to celebrate with you all in the sunny state of Arizona where our story first began. :)
