Michale & Kurtis

We met in Salt Lake City just as the Covid restrictions were lifting. Our first date was at TF Brewing—Kurtis had just discovered it, while Michale already knew it as a go-to first date spot. Thankfully, the conversation came easily, and something about that evening made us both want to keep learning more about each other.

On one of our first outings, Michale made Kurtis snowboard—just to prove he could keep up. Since then, skiing has become one of our favorite shared passions, along with canyoneering, road trips, and long mountain days. Some of our favorite memories come from the adventures we’ve shared—bluegrass festivals, via ferratas, hut trips, Squam Lake, the Tetons, and the Ogden Marathon. Michale brings a lightness and joy to every day; Kurtis brings intention and steady energy. We got engaged at the top of Snowbasin in fall 2024, surrounded by golden leaves, champagne, and the people who helped us pull it off. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
