Nate and I studied philosophy and history at Saint Xavier University. Through the two years we were in school, we grew closer as friends and even started the pro-life group on campus together! Our friendship blossomed into a deeper and richer love based on our mutual passion for life, Catholicism, ideas, and most importantly good beer and food :) When we first met, Nate was discerning the priesthood and spent 4 years in the Carmelite Seminary. Although he is grateful for his time with the Carmelites, God had other plans in store for him. After graduation, we began dating on July 9, 2019. Throughout the months, we continued to grow in our friendship and built a strong foundation of mutual love and respect. We share a love of Saint Therese of Lisieux who is the patron of our relationship. On two occasions, I received flowers from Therese, once in the beginning of our relationship and the second on our engagement day! Nate asked me to be his wife, on the same spot he asked me to his girlfriend. We are so grateful for each other, our families, and our friends! We cannot wait to celebrate love, life, and marriage with you this coming April!
