Save the date!

We were both not planning on being in Idaho. He was looking to be in Myrtle Beach and I was going to be in Nepal.... But Jesus had other plans! He ended up being recommended to Idaho for his Discipleship Training School and I ended up staying in the states to staff for that same DTS. I picked him up from the airport and that was the first time we met each other... and the rest is history<3

When we first started liking each other we played a LOT of Foosball and it was over the Foosball table that we really got to know each other and connected! Well one day when we were dating and hanging out we decided to play some Foosball because we hadn't played in a while. When we get there Cody asks me to put on our song 'Beautiful Crazy' by Luke Combs. At this point I had no idea what was going on which is funny because I always told him I would know the day he was going to ask me (because he has a hard time keeping surprises) but I had NO clue. While we are playing Foosball and listening to our song I score on him so he goes over to get the ball out and he acts like the ball is stuck in the goal. I got over to see if I can help get it out and while I am looking he says "oh wait, i got it" and pulls out the ring, gets on his knee and asks me to marry him! I said yes!... and then he won the game of Foosball.. of course! There were many happy tears! It was soooo sweet and so special! We are so excited for this adventure that we get to go on together!
