When should I RSVP by?

Answer

All RSVPs should be completed by April 20,2022. This will be our final count for all attendees. Absolutely no exceptions!!!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are accepting monetary gifts or visa gift cards only. We are eliminating the hassle of transporting gifts.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 11:00 and 11:15 A.M. for seating. The wedding will start on time at 11:30 A.M. Once the ceremony starts, there will be no entry into the garden. Please be on time!!!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

YES. This is an IVORY or WHITE Semi-Formal event; For Men Cinnamon Accessories are allowed. (ties, pocket scarfs, etc) Absolutely No Other colored attire allowed. Tuxedos and evening gowns are welcomed. No ripped clothing, gym sneakers, or sagging pants allowed. PSA... THIS IS AN IVORY OR WHITE SEMI-FORMAL OR FORMAL ATTIRE ONLY EVENT. Cinnamon accented colors allowed for men ONLY. NO OTHER ATTIRE COLORS WILL BE ALLOWED (reds, blacks, etc. will denied entry) Shoe color doesn't matter. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS...

Can I bring a date?

Answer

For single invites. Single invite +1 requirements are as follows: Invited Guest must pay for +1 guest dinner, including the venue gratuity by May 10, 2022. The total cost will be $90.00/pp including gratuity and taxes Please email the bride and groom if interested at miketavia1922@gmail.com. Please provide the guest name if approved. A link will be provided for payments. We are sadden that we cannot accommodate everyone with a +1.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. We love your kids, we really do. We want you to enjoy a night off, so please secure your baby-sitter early.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. For the wedding it is lot parking. it is a brief walk to Garden due to construction thats out of our control. Please wear comfortable shoes. The Reception venue parking will be a paid parking garage across from the venue and street parking only. Ladies, bring your comfortable ceremony for walking until you get to the Reception to flex those cute heels..

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes. it's a National Holiday. It's Michael's birthday. Juneteenth and Father's Day. We will celebrate in the park on June 19,2022. It's a family affair. We will play games, dance, and enjoy one another on this final day. Please wear some comfy clothes,bring towels, swimsuits, water toys, life jackets for the kiddos to swim at the beach, mobile jet ski's and boating dock near Pavillion. WE ARE ASKING THAT EVERYONE WITH SMALL CHILDREN PLEASE KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THEM FOR SAFETY REASONS. WE WILL BE SURROUNDED BY LOTS OF WATER!!!!! We are asking for contributions of pops, juice,chips, plates, cups, forks, etc. whatever you desire. Please Note: This a BYOB event.
