Kelsey Patecell
Maid of Honor & Middle School Friend
Alison and Kelsey have known each other since Frost Middle School Band Camp when Alison was too shy to say hello and Kelsey said, "Hi I'm Kelsey! What's your name?" After that, the girls have been close friends ever since. Through soccer, concert and marching band, Ultimate Frisbee, and all the ups and downs that life brings. Kelsey is Alison's angel on her shoulder, always encouraging her to make the smart choice, but always there to bail her out too.
Charles Feneaux
Best Man & Best Friend
Charles and Mike have been friends since Mike was in 8th grade and Charles was in 9th grade. Charles and Mike grew up through the pivotal years in Farmville, quickly becoming best friends and spending almost every weekend/summer together. Charles and Mike know each other extremely well and have been there for each other for over half a lifetime. Nearly 17 years later, Charles will be the best man in Mike and Alison's wedding.
Kaelan Ausherman
Junior Bridesmaid & Bride's Cousin
Kaelan is Alison's cousin on her mom's side of the family. She is the daughter of Alison's cousins, Thomas and Sara. From the moment Kaelan was born Alison was excited to be a role model for her. Over the years Alison and Kaelan have bonded over sports, funny faces, and arts and crafts. Alison is thrilled to have her little sister standing next to her on her wedding day.
Jeff Ayers
Groomsman & Groom's Fraternity Brother
Jeff and Mike met in fall of 2013 when Jeff was pledging Gamma Psi one semester after Mike pledged. Jeff and Mike spent many hours together both outside and at the fraternity house, whether it was doing homework or having a good time. Jeff and Mike have remained friends for 11 years, sharing a love for music, being goofy, and having a spontaneous sense of adventure.
Samantha Eldridge
Bridesmaid & Bride's Childhood Friend
Samantha and Alison met at Oak View Elementary School in Mrs. Lobosco's kindergarten class. Alison and Samantha were neighbors and spent many after school evenings and weekends together at each other's houses swinging to endless heights on the swing set, jumping rope down the street, or playing dress up. Alison's favorite part of their relationship is that no matter how far life takes them, they are always able to pick up right where they left off and have a good time. Usually floating on a kayak.
Kyle Dobry
Groomsman & Groom's Fraternity Brother
Kyle and Mike first met in Spring 2014 when Kyle was about to pledge Gamma Psi fraternity. Just a couple short years later, Kyle would connect Mike to his dad, who helped Mike get his first job after college. Kyle and Mike share a love for sports, sports betting analysis, craft beer, music, and community service, and have shared time together on the Gamma Psi International Board of Directors. Mike was a groomsman in Kyle's wedding in Fall 2022.
Julieta Gomez
Bridesmaid & Bride's Cousin
Julieta is Alison's cousin on her dad's side through his cousin, Julieta's father, Luis Fernando. Julieta went to college at UVA, and during breaks, summer vacation, and even after college she lived with Alison's family in Fairfax. The girls got to be very close sharing the nitty-gritty of living together. To this day, Alison introduces Julieta as "sissy." Alison is thankful to have a strong connection to her Colombian heritage through her relationship with Julieta.
Matt Hanson
Groomsman & Groom's Brother
Matt Hanson is Mike's younger middle brother. Mike was a huge part of Matthew's life growing up, often playing the role of both older brother and frequent babysitter/dad. Mike and Matt have shared countless memories together from childhood, in their tightly-knit family.
Elise Johnson
Bridesmaid & Bride's Sorority Sister
Elise and Alison met in college when Alison pledged Alpha Beta Psi sorority. Alison was immediately taken by Elise's boundless positivity and energy. Through any hard experience to hit Alison, Elise has been there to be a shoulder to cry on. Elise is always there to lend wisdom or tell a crazy story to brighten the day. Alison and Elise truly bonded, however, through their love of bringing the moves to any dance floor!
Brian Hrozencik
Groomsman & Groom's Fraternity Brother
Brian and Mike met towards the end of Mike's time at Longwood when Brian was pledging Gamma Psi fraternity. Brian and Mike quickly bonded over a share for similar music tastes, sense of humor, and love for talking about current events and politics.
Cassie Keefe
Bridesmaid & Bride's Adult Friend
Alison and Cassie met through their boyfriends, Mike and Brian Hrozencik (one of Mike's groomsmen). Alison and Cassie connected through their love of fine wine and always being up for a good time. Cassie was Alison's first friend she made after moving to Reston. Their friendship is based on the love of food, physical fitness of all kinds, sassiness, and supervising the other girl's man when third wheeling on outings.
Matt Hrozencick
Groomsman & Groom's Fraternity Brother
Mike first met Matt at a Young Americans for Liberty meeting on campus at Longwood. Shortly after, Matt also joined the same fraternity as Mike. Mike and Matt have remained close friends over the years, sharing much of the same sense of warped humor and love for craft beer, politics, and current events. Matt and Mike shared a lot of time together post-college during the time when Matt lived in Herndon.
Emily Peterson
Bridesmaid & Bride's Cousin
Emily is Alison's cousin on her mom's side of the family. She is the daughter of Alison's godmother, Beth Peterson. Emily and Alison have always been close through their love of sports. When Alison learned Emily had made her school's field hockey team, she was all too eager to share all she knew about the game. All through her life, Alison has been impressed with the confidence and grace Emily displays on a daily basis; and it is her confidence that Alison is proud to have standing with her on her big day.
Max LaBrague
Groomsman & Groom's Childhood Friend
Max and Mike have been close friends since the day Mike walked into Hamilton Central School in the middle of first grade after his family moved to upstate New York. Max has grown up being a part of the Albrecht household and understanding the unique character of each family member. Max and Mike remain close friends to this day.
Jeniffer von Bredow
Bridesmaid & Bride's Cousin
Jeniffer is Alison's cousin by marriage to her oldest cousin, Hassito, on her dad's side. Alison grew up being the only girl cousin on her dad's side of the family. But when Hassito married Jeniffer, all that changed and Alison had a friend for life! Jeniffer gave Alison the confidence to embrace the good, bad, and randomness of their ADHD; and is always happy to sample some bubbly with Alison.
Sam Waddell
Groomsman & Groom's Fraternity Brother
Mike and Sam met in Spring 2013 while being part of the same pledge class in Gamma Psi. Later on in college, Mike and Sam moved in together at Lancer Park. Even though distance has pulled Mike and Sam apart, they have remained close friends over the years, often hanging out either in Virginia Beach, Richmond, or Reston. Mike and Sam also got stranded together at the disastrous Blue Ridge Rock Festival, making the most out of a bad situation.
