When I first saw Matt, I was instantly head over heels. We were both at church—alone—and he walked in late holding a motorcycle helmet. He sat two rows in front of me, and I immediately texted my sister to tell her about the guy who just caught my eye. I didn’t have the courage to talk to him that day, but I did overhear someone say his name. Later on, I found him on social media and followed him (of course!). He followed me back, and a few weeks later, I posted about attending our church’s Family & Faith Night. That’s when Matt replied to my story, asking if I went to Shelter Cove. I said yes and asked if he did too… and just like that, the conversation took off. We talked nonstop until 4 a.m. Four days later, we went on our first date at La Parrilla—and we’ve been inseparable ever since.
