Sometime in 2012 while in school I saw his picture with my cousin on Facebook and immediately I had a crush on him and I thought it will fade away as usual, 3years later after graduation in 2016 I got more attracted to his pictures though he didn’t know me, I had to search the internet to look for him and found him on instagram and followed him, he followed back and we became friends on each others comment section. One year after he sent me a dm to wish me a happy birthday and requested for my number, though we were living in different countries with different time zones but we became very close friends and one year later in 2018 he asked me to be his girlfriend and I agreed immediately😂 we dated for 5years and I knew I wanted more, he proposed in 2023 and here we are looking forward to our big day.

Our relationship started out as friends on the internet, thanks to social media. We had been replying to and liking each other's posts on Instagram for a while and then it progressed to chats till I slid in her dm and requested for her number. At this point, we were living in different countries with different time zones but we made it a priority to speak every day and anytime we had the opportunity. If I’m being honest, while we may have started out as friends, I was biding my time to get to know her more and take the relationship to the next level.
