We’re getting married!!

It was the summer of 2000. Michael was rocking his Security uniform and I was workin it in my Craftsman polo & khakis. It was Sears Roebuck that set the stage for our "meet-cute". Seriously, I never thought I'd meet my future husband in the hardware aisle at Westridge Mall. And it wasn't love at first sight, but no good love story starts that way! Am I right?! 10 years later we reconnected over Facebook (shout out to Mark Zuckerberg!). We went on a couple dates. It has been said if you have chemistry, all you need is timing. . . well at that time we had neither. Jump to 2017, I'm attending Palm Valley Church and guess who I run into! (Hello Boaz! I have found the one my soul loves!) I reached out to him, because hello, when you find a man who loves Jesus, you pick up the phone!

It was our anniversary weekend. We went to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, the Grand Canyon and finished up at Bearizona. We were hiking on the Grandview Trail and he was acting all strange. We stopped at one point and I honestly thought maybe he needed a break. He went from sitting to kneeling, I was thinking please don't collapse off this ledge. Then I saw "the box," he had this speech prepared, but he only got through the 1st 2 lines. He cried, I cried . . . I said yes! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
