Most of the best love stories feel like fairytales. They are stories filled with knights in shining armor and princesses to be saved. This is not one of those stories. This story takes place in a hospital; a Level 1 Trauma Center in the heart of Newark, NJ. It’s a story about a Pharmacist named Michael and a Nurse named Xiandra. One day while delivering medication to the floor at the advice of a coworker, Michael met a beautiful nurse and found the courage to speak to her. Xiandra was unimpressed by the goofy pharmacist to say the least. Nevertheless, they began chatting with each other on the hospital’s computer work chat and taking lunch breaks together. After their night shifts would end, they would have breakfast together at the local diner. The two of them would grow to talk about anything and everything together. Over countless dates and night shifts together, Michael and Xiandra grew from friends to lovers. They would support each other at their weakest and learned to love the other in spite of their flaws.
